When Phillip showed me the offline edit and asked for help to create a unique visual experience I was a bit clueless what I should do with it first. Due to the fact that most of the footage was primarly intended to be used in a live production I had to deal with some nasty pre burnt in Rec709 LUTs. After grading a first look I decided to generate some oldschool analog feeling with the help of a shitty old VTR machine. It turned out to be a real game changer and created this a soft analog image which I layered on top of the orignal footage later.
